Greetings!!!
One more payment and the ministry center will be free and clear!!! The Lord has
been faithful in bringing us to this last payment. He has also paid every
electric, gas, water and phone bill without a ministry backing us on a continual
basis. He has been our source and has laid it on the hearts of those He has chosen
to be our partners. It is such a blessing to have you praying for us, calling
or emailing and encouraging us, others are able to come and help, while others
give. We most certainly thank you and appreciate you!!! The Lord is so good
to us!!! What an awesome privilege to be able to share the Word of God 10 hours
a day, 7 days a week, in addition to our regular ministry. It seems strange to
be having a service in our meeting room and at the same time be ministering through
the radio. At this age tradition would have us relaxing more, but we find
that we are busier than ever. There never seems to be enough time to accomplish
the work. Alana and I feel so very honored to be chosen to sow the precious seed
of the Gospel. In my "old life" I've been in corporate management,
made very decent money and held positions that I really enjoyed. Some months I
made almost as much as we run the ministry on for a year, but there
is nothing that compares to being in the will of God. While the monetary rewards
may be less, the eternal rewards more than make up for it, and those
who partner with us in the sowing will partner with us in the reward. Psa
126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Psa 126:6 He that
goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with
rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. We just received a letter from
an 87-year-young friend who is earnestly praying for a "mighty moving of
the Holy Spirit". We need to get back to praying for that move of God that
will stir the Church to weep for their own spiritual condition. When the Church
gets right with the Lord then we will weep for the souls that are bound for hell.
Where is the burden for the lost? If God's people don't care, who will? Are we
weeping for our lost families? Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent
me, while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work. | There
is an urgency in the Spirit to "work the works of Him that sent me".
What is the Lord speaking to you? Time is short and the laborers are few. Help
us reach the lost for Jesus while there is time. We are constantly working
on more teachings and adding more artists, music, and skits to our broadcasts.
Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 28th we were broadcasting and didn't seem
to have any listeners--almost two days!!! Lisa checked and she couldn't get our
broadcast. Everything was working correctly on our end, but our server had changed
the links and failed to notify us. After a little scrambling to fix things, we
were back up and running and finally started recovering listeners by Friday P.M.
We apologize to everyone who was affected by this. We returned home one afternoon
and found a package on the front porch. We saw it was from a music store and opened
it. Inside we found a microphone that is arguably the best mic for the money,
plus a stand to go with it. One of our listeners had "heard" a problem
with the mics we were using and solved it. Thank you, brother!!! If you can
work on gas furnaces, we have two in our main building that are not working and
are in dire need of repair. The drug war in Juarez has claimed about 900 lives
since the first of the first of the year. Please pray with us for the protection
of the church, the innocent, and that the Lord's work will continue unhindered.
Also, pray that the bloodshed will not spill across the border. Services:
Sunday 10:00 A.M. Praise & Worship Plus Friday September
