| TENTH ANNIVERSARY IN EL PASO | |
| January 22, 1998 we rolled
into this city and prayed that the Lord would show us in three days
if this was where we should be. Unbeknownst to us, a brother in Christ,
Eddy Cheslick , was heading toward our motor home and the Lord was
already at work. It would be a few weeks later before we would be
absolutely sure that this was where we belonged, and what a joy it
is to know we are walking in His will. We are extremely blessed and thank the Lord for His hand on us over the past ten years of fruitful ministry. It boggles our minds when we realize the results of our labors here with the help of the scores of our brothers and sisters who have lifted us up in their prayers, spoken words of encouragement, worked with their hands, and given of their finances. We appreciate you so very much. Thank you!!! Project 2008 is heading forward despite sickness, which has plagued us over the past month. Mary Bowland has agreed to record some gospel music in the Tarahumara language. She and her family have lived with and ministered to that tribe.  Mary Bowland (on the right) with her daughter, Heaven. Rosa, who is a Christian Tarahumara native, has started recording in her language for this project. She is recording both music and the Word and is very excited to be used by the Lord to reach her people with the Gospel. In regard to the internet radio, we are putting programs into place, listening to both really talented musicians and some who are musically challenged, and working on several other fronts to have everything in place to start broadcasting. |
We would ask you to pray with us for our finances as
we continue into this year. The outreaches all take money. Fortunately,
the ministry center is almost paid off. We have less than one year
of payments left (under $5,000). If we could get out from under that
financial weight it would free up more money for the outreaches. Please
remember this in prayer. Lisa Lopez Lisa lost her husband in December and is staying with us for a while. She has taken on the task of getting our website updated and is helping with some other much needed projects. Please keep her in your prayers.
